Tips for Relieving Bloating

Restore Hydration. Salty foods create fluid retention and swelling; those created with refined sugar cause surges in blood sugar and, therefore, cravings; and alcohol and caffeine cause dehydration. In order for your body’s nourishment system to work, toxins must be flushed from your organs and tissues. The typical amount of eight glasses of water per day is not adequate to detox. In order to detoxify your body while also replenishing crucial vitamins and minerals, we propose that you include, for at least four days, unsweetened fruit juices in the morning and vegetable juices in the afternoon along with your normal diet.
During the first two days, ahead you consume or drink anything, have 1 cup hot water combined with the juice of half a lemon, 1/16 teaspoon cayenne pepper and one tablespoon maple syrup. Lemons are rich in bioflavonoids, which are excellent detoxing catalysts. Cayenne pepper is an anti-inflammatory. Maple syrup adds sweetness.
About one-half an hour after taking your hot water and lemon drink, make up a smoothie of fruit and ground flax seeds. Great picks are apples, peaches, berries, pineapple, pears, kiwi and oranges. Add a tablespoonful of flax seeds and half a teaspoon of fresh or ground ginger. Do not include protein powder or yoghurt in your smoothie.
Make a very small breakfast only if you are hungry. Ideal choices are yogurt, a protein powder shake, eggs, or oatmeal. For lunch have a fat-free meat like fish or chicken and a big raw salad splash of olive oil and lemon.
A few hours before dinner try vegetable juices made with carrots, beets, celery, cucumber, parsley and spinach. If it’s an option, wheat grass juice is a superior nourisher and detoxifier. For dinner, make a brothy soup with a moderate amount of meat or tofu, and noodles or rice. Make the soup stock from real vegetables, not from a mix or can.
