Importance of Managing Your Monthly Budget

January 26th, 2010

A lot of people oftentimes get worried about their monthly budget, not overseeing your monthly budget can can place you in to further in debt if you are not careful. Overseeing your budget the right way has many gains including saving you money and help relief some of your tension over debt. Always keep in mind that a budget is principally a plan for your monthly spending. Your budget, like any programme, involves some level of management to make it work for you. The way I manage my budget, for example, is by concentrating on keeping information coordinated and controlling my spending.

My main focus is on organising the info in mybudget. For instance, I keep an eye on running expenses like utilities, auto and mortgage payments, insurance, and the like. Consider that without organizing my budget, I can very easily lose track of my spending. By being conscious of what expenses repeat every month, I have an imminent grasp on the minimum amount of money I have to put aside each month before I spend on other things I can moderate a little more such as entertainment, apparel, and holidays.

To make a financial progress, I make sure that I moderate my expenditure in my budget. A strong measure of progress is putting money into a savings account or paying down debt. However, if I over spend, the contrary is true because instead of saving money I will use debt to help me cover the monthly expenses in my budget. Clearly, giving in to the tensions of budgeting can have expensive outcomes for my finances, particularly if I am not able to pay down my debt.

There are two gains for moderating and organizing my budget: First, I save money by fending off redundant expenditure. Second, my finances are targeted at attaining financial goals. Basically, by not buying things I do not need, I am actually freeing up money that I can either use for something else or save. The spare money can also be useful in paying off debt or saving it for a vacation. In addition to having extra money, it will also allow me to make longer term financial goals like saving and investing for retirement or paying off my mortgage or student loans. With my budget being organised and controlled, not only does my financial position become more balanced but successfully overseeing my budget reduces the stress that often comes with being in debt.

Lonely, Looking for Dating Services in a Brand New City

June 20th, 2009

I ignore my emotions, because I didn’t always have Great Expectations for my dating life. I finally bottomed out, merely hours ago I filed three years of back taxes. On a weekend that comes from being alone, obviously. I pretend to be ashamed about it. Is that even legal? Well, it’s when I initially looked into getting out to date with Great Expectations.

No problem. I’ll ease back into dating with a professional dating service, Denver Great Expectations. That sounds like a plan. Loneliness bites, heres why. While eating corn on the cob at George’s graduation in Denver yesterday, great aunt Judy started bothering me if I have settled down with the love of my life. They always bring this up, every year. I laughed and spit out, “that’s none of your business.”

There’s nowhere to hide when Gramps doesn’t know when to quit driving home about my companionship situation. I quipped to each of them: “Dating isn’t for me, but my romantic destiny is right over there!”

How can they be so rude? No one knew what I was talking about, as usual. Immediately, I fell asleep that night because the dating pressure was too much. But I couldn’t get it out of my head! It was more useful listening to my dad, which is never the case. Doug, who wrote to me from Egypt, suggested that I enlist in Great Expectations. I said, “Yeah, maybe I should.” But it really was a good idea. I will never regret joining this dating service full of fun and desirable Dallas singles at Great Expectations.

At the time, dating events were a novel thing to me. I’d never done anything like this before, and I was speechless at first. This slight disaster didn’t put an end to another incredible Great Expectations event. The evening was a great way to start at Great Expectations. The host was incredible and I’ll always remember the other members, some who are my new friends.

I started going to these amazing Great Expectations Dallas singles events, I rubbed elbows with a collection of dynamite friends who I could tell feel the same way I do when it comes to dating. Can’t imagine why I used to let anyone get me down about me not dating. Amazingly enough, mingling in Dallas with Great Expectations is a good time and just what I’ve been looking for.

Panic Attack Causes - What Is the Real Reason for Panic Attacks

March 12th, 2009

Our reality is overflowing with pressures. It seems that the more we grow technology and paths to make things more speedily, the more anxiety attacks increase. We should analyze this further. You would think that bothersome demands and anxieties would diminish with our non stop advancement in technology. However, anxiousness and depressive disorder appear more commonplace now than when compared to the past. It is quite possible that in the past, it was not mannerly to discuss these topics. These days are different, we nowadays discuss it openly. In fact, as a TV watcher, I’m sure you’ve witnessed some sort of ad for a medicinal drug, which provides panic attacks treatment (http://panic-attacks-causes.com).

You are not alone when dealing with these issues. It might be only public place aversion or a problem sleeping, scientists are always developing innovative ways to fix it. Anxiety and natural depression are surely at the top of this long list. When I ponder the notion of depression, I think of somebody who has recently suffered the loss of a loved one or someone who is disabled in such a way that keeps them from living a normal life. In most situations this is not the case. We are surrounded by people that are pummeled by the burden of panic attacks and depression for other reasons. The fact is we oftentimes do not know the reasons. The food we consume could easily be a reason. It seems to be part of the human condition to lack total contentment with life.

We need to some degree to pay attention to teenagers’ plight. Panic attacks and depression seems to be striking them more than anyone these days. Granted, being a teenager is challenging in some aspects, and unbelievably delightful in others. Through many teens eyes, it appears all painful. Even I was a teenager before. We have not forgotten our experiences. Yet, I can never recall being depressed. This makes me wonder what has changed lately. Depressive Disorder should not be a part of childhood. In fact, anxiety and depressive disorder should be much less prevalent than it is altogether.

The Untold Truth About Mentors, and Why You DON’T Need One

April 10th, 2008

I think there is a misconception about what a mentor truly is. A mentor is someone who guides you, someone wise, someone you trust. A mentor can be your confidant, advisor, coach, or even your role model. Many people swear by their mentors and frequently credit them with much of their success.

Yet you do not have to choose just one! The mentor-protégé bond is certainly a special one, but this does not mean you are limited to the knowledge of only a single source. In the early years of my adult life, I was hoping to find just one person to guide me and direct me, but I never did find that person.

Over time, a few things became clear to me:

1. There is no single person who can provide us with every answer. So why abide by one mentor who you know cannot meet every requirement? I discovered that I could learn more, not by following the advice of a single person but by observing a multitude of people.

2. There is no perfect role model. I used to believe there was such a person and that I would simply model myself after him. All I would have to do is watch and do the things he or she did. Unfortunately, I haven’t met that person yet.

3. There is no perfect person. Very few people possess all of the qualities that I think define success and happiness: great friends, career, health, family life, finances, social life, leisure, spiritual life, community involvement, etc. Most of the very successful people I’ve met had one or some of these, but hardly any had all of them. So why compare myself to the perfect person who doesn’t exist?

4. I didn’t have all of the answers, and I never will. I knew that I was going to make mistakes, but what I discovered was that it was much easier to learn from other people’s mistakes than to make all of the mistakes myself.

To me, my mentor had to:

— Take a personal interest in my development and support me in the avenues I take.

— Help me strive toward the highest of aspirations, not only in career but in the satisfaction of life.

— Want to share his knowledge and experiences, in hope that I reach a high level of achievement.

— Show me the need to fulfill all responsibilities, both at home and away from it.

— Care about the well-being of himself and his family.

— Be a great overall example.

Needless to say, I still haven’t found that one mentor yet.

Since I couldn’t find that one special person to guide me, I needed to create a mentor. Now, how does one go about doing something like that? Well, it’s not as hard as it seems. You first have to determine what you want. That is most important, not only because it’s part of the mentor process but because it directly concerns what will make you happy in life.

Once you figure out what you want, find the people that have it or know how to get it and make sure they are willing to teach you how to get it. You don’t even have to know them personally. As your mentors, they can teach you through a variety of ways: books, audio tapes, lectures, seminars, etc. A mentor then can have millions of protégés.

Here is some additional advice in finding mentors:

1. You can learn from practically anybody. In essence, anybody can be your mentor. Not only can you learn what to do or how to behave, you can also learn to avoid the wrong paths that others have followed.

2. Identify the key people in your life. Mentors can be close family members like parents or siblings, and they can also be public figures. Again, don’t believe that you have to have a close relationship with your mentors. Public figures can be key people in your life because they can have a profound effect on how you live it.

3. Find people with specialized knowledge. If certain people have written an insightful book on a particular subject or have inspirational life experiences to share, then they might be possible mentors who can help in motivating you. Plus, if they are famous, they are easy to watch via television or the Internet, and their material is not difficult to find.

4. Try to ask as much as possible. Ask people for advice, ask them how they got where they are, ask them how you can get the same things. Also ask yourself what certain people would say or how they would act in specific situations. The more prepared you are, the less likely you’ll make a mistake in the future.

5. Mentors can simply be people who are happy in life! Salary and position don’t matter as long as there is contentment and commitment. Mentors can range from athletes and politicians to religious figures and stay-at-home mothers.

I have hundreds of mentors. So how many do you have?

What does hiding get you?

We all do it or have done it in our life times. We hide or have hidden behind fears, old wounds, our past, false expectations (our own and others), perceptions…and why? Because hiding behind some thing that may be uncomfortable actual feels safe and familiar.

As a child did you ever play “Hide-And-Seek”? If you did then you probably remember picking a hiding space that was rather concealed from others. That was the whole point to be concealed and hard to find.

Well, when we hide from challenges, from our dreams, from potential risks (the good ones, that is), that is what we are doing, we are concealing ourselves…not only from others, but from life, and our authentic selves. Life is passing us by and opportunities are floating adrift.

So let me ask you again, what does hiding get you? Do you have more to lose or to gain by not hiding? My wish for you is to think about those questions, to think long and hard about them.

Yes, putting yourself out there may feel risky and even scary, but in doing so you become available to potentials. Potentials to gain what you want, to learn, to grow… potentials that would not have presented themselves because you were hiding and they could not find you

Ollie ollie oxen free…you can come out now. Take the chance, step out from that hiding place, take that challenge, because YOU have more to gain by no longer hiding than you do to lose.
